Print Reference

The Print Reference is an imaginary point that is used to position text on your product. We imagine that each text area is surrounded by a box. This box has nine points on it: one at each corner; one at the mid-point of each side; and one at the very center of the box. To position a text area on the product, we first select one of these points to use as the print reference, then we tell the machine how to position that point. Look at the example below.

After entering text into the editor, we have to decide how to position it. In this case we want to reference the bottom center of the block of text...

...so we have to select the bottom center position in the Print Reference box.
